This 16-week program will provide you with expert coaching, speed and strength workouts, perks, tips on recovery and nutrition, and the knowledge to help you run your best TCS New York City Marathon. Get motivated by the camaraderie, inspiration, and accountability that come from a community of runners, all training for the same race.

NYRR Unlock 26.2 x New Balance is a holistic marathon training plan that focuses on speed and endurance workouts and also includes guidance from our NYRR coaches about nutrition, hydration, gear, injury prevention, and other aspects of training to ensure you’re prepared for November 2. Finally, the NYRR Unlock 26.2 x New Balance program includes exciting New Balance gear and perks! The Weekend Long Run session primarily focuses on the endurance aspect of training and does not include New Balance perks.
The class will include a dynamic warm-up, followed by a marathon-specific tempo or interval workout. It will conclude with a cool-down, as well as targeted strength and stretching exercises.
