Race Details

Race Day

Be event-ready and avoid delays on race day by claiming your new NYRR account and QR code in advance. You need your new QR code when you pick up your bib or check in for your volunteer shift. On race day, number pickup will be available from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Race-Day Central located in David Dinkins Circle.


Bib pickup will close 10 minutes after the start time of the race. Runners arriving to pick up their bib after that time will not be issued a bib and will not receive 9+1 credit for the race.


Show your race confirmation email or the QR code from your NYRR account to pick up your race materials. Proxy bib pickup is available for this race, so a friend or family member can pick up your race materials. The person will need the QR code for your NYRR account, along with a form of photo identification that corresponds to your NYRR account. 



The race will start on Avenue of Commerce and head up to the Unisphere. Runners will loop around the Queens Zoo, cross back past the Queens Museum, circle around the New York State Pavilion, and return back to the Unisphere. The race will finish with a sprint down Dwight Eisenhower Promenade to the Fountain of the Planets.

Bag check will be available beginning at 6:30 a.m. at Race-Day Central located in David Dinkins Circle.


Planning to check a bag on race morning? While we will continue to have clear plastic bags available at number pickup, we encourage you to use your own clear reusable plastic bag, no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep, with the tag affixed. Only clear bags may be checked at bag check, we are unable to check opaque bags of any size.


NYRR is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen bags or items from bags checked at NYRR bag check.

Experience a peaceful moment of calm at the NYRR Zen Zone, a serene space for meditation and mindfulness will be located at Race-Day Central. With live sessions and self-guided audio recordings, the NYRR Zen Zone will support runners in their mental preparation for the upcoming race.


Meditation Schedule

Time: 6:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Each session is approximately 8-10 minutes long. New sessions will start every 20 minutes.

Parking passes are available for pre-purchase online and on race day for Citi Field parking lots. Gates open at 5:30 a.m. Parking is $40 for compact cars and $80 for any car larger than a 7-8 person SUV (except for ADA vans). The Southfield Lot will be the main parking lot, please use Gate 16 and Gate 17. Cash will not be accepted.

Awards will be presented on site to the top-three finishers in the overall men, women, and non-binary divisions. Runners who place in the top-three of their age group will be able to claim an award in the days following the race by filling out our Age-Group Awards Claim Form

If NYRR cancels an offering on the direction of local, city, or state authorities, participants will be informed as soon as possible, including communication of participant resolution options. Events will not be rescheduled.


No Refunds: Entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred or transferred.

To request to register a support runner, the runner must fill out the following formAll requests must be placed by runners at least two weeks prior to the event.

We at New York Road Runners believe running should be accessible to everyone. To help, we created NYRR Race Free to provide race fee assistance to those who qualify financially.


In 2024, we offered 1,000+ program slots and more than 3,000 complimentary race entries, including for the TCS New York City Marathon. Race Free applications that met the eligibility criteria were pooled based on previous participation and selected by borough or zip code until all slots were filled.


Check out the Race Free page this summer for updates on the 2026 application period. (Please note runners apply in 2025 for races in the calendar year of 2026.)

This Member-Only Standby List is full. If you already submitted your name to the Member-Only Standby List for this event, you could be selected from the standby list and sent a non-complimentary invitation code up to 48 hours before the event date.


The Member-Only Standby List is a perk for NYRR members who are willing to participate in an NYRR race if entries become available after registration has closed. These individuals will be invited to register for the race on a first-come, first-served basis.

Runners are encouraged to pick up their bibs at the RUNCENTER to avoid race day lines. 


All participants will receive a New Balance Short Sleeve Shirt at number pickup. Your shirt size may not be available at the time of bib pickup.
