Take on the streets of the Bronx at the New Balance Bronx 10 Mile on Saturday, September 19.
This 10-mile course winds through the borough’s vibrant neighborhoods, offering a memorable and lively experience for runners and spectators alike.
Part of NYRR’s Five-Borough Series, the Bronx 10 Mile celebrates NYC running, community, and culture. The race also serves as a 9+1 qualifier for the 2027 TCS New York City Marathon and a 4 Out of 6 qualifier for the 2027 United Airlines NYC Half. Bring your crew, feel the crowd’s energy, and run with the city at your side.
All registrants will receive a New Balance tech t-shirt.

We at New York Road Runners believe running should be accessible to everyone. To help, we created NYRR Race Free to provide race fee assistance to those who qualify financially.
In 2026, we will offer 1,000 spots in the NYRR Race Free Program and more than 3,000 complimentary race entries, including entry for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. Accepted NYRR Race Free participants will receive up to 6 complimentary entries to our weekly races and the opportunity to access training for free.

Runners are encouraged to pick up their bibs at the New Balance Run Hub to avoid race day lines.
All participants will receive New Balance T-Shirt at number pickup. Your size may not be available at the time of bib pick-up.
On race day, number pickup will be available from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Race-Day Central (located on River Avenue, between 161st and 158th Streets).
Show your race confirmation email or the QR code from your NYRR account to pick up your race materials. Proxy bib pickup is available for this race, so a friend or family member can pick up your race materials. The person will need the QR code for your NYRR account, along with a form of photo identification that corresponds to your NYRR account.
When you purchase an iTAB during registration, it will arrive in the mail engraved with your name and finish time a few days after you finish your race and collect your medal at the finish line . The iTAB fits perfectly onto the ribbon of your medal and is a great way to celebrate and share your event journey.

On race day, number pickup will be available from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Race-Day Central (located on River Avenue, between 161st and 158th Streets).
Bib pickup will close 10 minutes after the start time of the race. Runners arriving to pick up their bib after that time will not be issued a bib and will not receive 9+1 credit for the race.
The race starts near Yankee Stadium on Grand Concourse, north of 165th Street and where runners will head north to Mosholu Parkway.
At Mosholu Parkway, runners will turn left, head west, and make a U-turn before Sedgwick Avenue. Runners will continue east on Mosholu Parkway until they reach Hull Avenue where they will make another U-turn and head west on Mosholu Parkway toward Grand Concourse.
At Grand Concourse, runners will turn left and head south, continuing on Grand Concourse until 161st Street.
At 161st Street, runners will turn right and continue toward the finish line. Runners will reach the finish line after crossing River Avenue and the subway overpass.

Bag check will be available beginning at 6:30 a.m. (located on River Avenue, between 157th and 153rd Streets).
Planning to check a bag on race morning? While we will continue to have clear plastic bags available at number pickup, we encourage you to use your own clear reusable plastic bag, no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep, with the tag affixed. Only clear bags may be checked at bag check, we are unable to check opaque bags of any size.
NYRR is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen bags or items from bags checked at NYRR bag check.

As New York Road Runners continues working toward more sustainable events, this race will feature the first-ever self-serve Culligan filtered-water refill station on course, close to mile 8. The station will allow runners to refill containers quickly from spigots. There will be no changes to the regular volunteer-led hydration stations, where runners may also ask volunteers to refill their personal containers.
We encourage runners to use personal hydration containers (to align with NYRR's policy).
The NYRR Pace Team members are some of the most experienced runners in New York City and the most knowledgeable runners on the course. They hit their target finish time 96.5% of the time. Pacers will be on hand to guide participants toward specific goal times over the entire race distance.
If you choose to run with a pace group, you can look for the NYRR Pace Team members in the start corrals wearing their blue-and-white-striped NYRR Pace Team singlets. Each pacer will wear orange-and-blue back flags displaying their target finish times and average pace, making them easy to spot throughout the race. There is no fee or sign-up required to run or with the pace team.

Public parking is available for purchase at the 24-hour garage located at 71 E 153rd St, Bronx NY 10452. Enter via the entrance on 153rd St.

After the conclusion of the event, official results will be posted on results.nyrr.org.
Awards will be presented on site to the top three finishers in the overall men, women, and nonbinary divisions. Runners who place in the top three of their age group will be able to claim an award in the days following the race by filling out our Age-Group Awards Claim Form.
You will receive a Recovery Bag Presented by Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS).
Visit the HSS Runner Recovery Zone, where you can stretch and foam roll with the experts from HSS. The finish area is for runners only.

NYRR Member Division
All prize money amounts are equal for men, women, and non-binary categories and subject to all applicable rules and policies regarding prize money. To be eligible for prize money and time bonuses, including Top Bronx Finisher, a runner must have had a valid paid NYRR membership since at least June 19, 2026 through at least the date of the race, and must complete the course in 1 hour 10 minutes or faster.

NYRR Member Division Top Bronx Finisher
The top man, woman, and non-binary finisher from the Bronx, based on Net time, who meet the NYRR Member Division requirements will be awarded $500. Residency is determined by zip code at the time of registration. Cumulative with overall prize money, if applicable.
Time Bonuses
A $100 time bonus is available for the men's, women's and/or non-binary's race winners who break the existing event record, based on Gun Time. The Bonus is available to the race winner, only, and they must break, not tie, the mark.

If NYRR cancels an offering on the direction of local, city, or state authorities, participants will be informed as soon as possible, including communication of participant resolution options. Events will not be rescheduled.
No Refunds: Entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred or transferred.
