Join us at Flushing Meadows Corona Park for the Flushing Meadows Kids Run at the Citizens Queens 10K!
Kids can run, play, and explore a festival full of fun physical activities—perfect for families looking for an active day outdoors.
Registration is FREE and open to participants ages 2-18 of all abilities. Participants will receive a New Balance lunchbox (while supplies last) and finishers will receive a medal.

Parents/ Guardians of runners are encouraged to pick up their bibs at the RUNCENTER to avoid race day lines.
Numbers will also be available for pickup at the Citizens Woodside Branch (5120 Northern Boulevard, Woodside, NY) on the following dates:

Stage 1
Stage 1 participants should report to the staging area (starts separated by age group) 15 minutes before the start of their run. Please note that Stage 1 dashes start on a rolling schedule; refer to the estimated start times listed below.
Stages 2 and 3
Stage 2 and 3 participants should report to the corrals 15 minutes before the start of their run.

Stage 1: Participants will run short dashes of varying distances. See the Schedule of Events section for estimated distances by age group.
Stage 2: Participants will run an out-and-back course that starts and finishes on Meridian Road (at the adult Citizens Queens 10K start line). Runners will begin by heading southwest toward Rodman Walk, make a U-turn shortly after passing Rodman Walk, and then head back to the start line.
Stage 3: Participants will run an out-and-back course that starts and finishes on Meridian Road (at the adult Citizens Queens 10K start line). Runners will begin by heading southwest toward Avenue of Commerce, make a U-turn near the intersection of Meridian Road and Pacific Avenue, and then head back to the start line.
We strongly recommend checking mta.info before you travel. You can also message the MTA using the chat feature on the MTA app.
Bag check will be available from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Race-Day Central.
While we will continue to have clear plastic bags available at registration, we encourage you to use your own clear reusable plastic bag, no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep. Only clear bags may be checked at bag check; we are unable to check opaque bags of any size.
NYRR is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen bags or items from bags checked at NYRR bag check.
Participants will receive a New Balance lunchbox. Souvenirs are subject to availability and will only be distributed on event day from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Race-Day Central. A youth race number is required to collect the souvenir.
After the conclusion of the event, official results will be posted on results.nyrr.org. Awards will be presented on race day to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Stage 3 finishers in the girl, boy, and nonbinary categories. Awards will only be distributed at the race finish.

If NYRR cancels an offering on the direction of local, city, or state authorities, parents/guardians will be informed as soon as possible. Events will not be rescheduled.
