In order to score for a team, an entrant must be a member of an established and NYRR-recognized running team and must have completed at least one NYRR scored/qualifying race for that team since (but not including) the previous year’s Team Championships. Furthermore, they may not have competed for that team until at least 90 days after having competed for another team.
If a participating team has not fielded a full team in their division (men’s open, women’s open, nonbinary open, 40+, 50+, 60+, 70+) at a prior NYRR Club Points race since (but not including) the previous year’s Team Championships, the team may not score in that division at the NYRR Team Championships.
All team categories for the NYRR Team Championships are scored by net time. At the Team Championships, points are doubled in each team category as follows:
- Open: 10 men, 10 women, and 3 nonbinary runners score for a team in their respective races
- 40+: 5 men/5 women
- 50+: 3 men/3 women
- 60+: 3 men/3 women
- 70+: 3 men/3 women
If NYRR cancels an offering on the direction of local, city, or state authorities, participants will be informed as soon as possible, including communication of participant resolution options. Events will not be rescheduled.
No Refunds: Entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred or transferred.
