  • This race is a 9+1 program qualifier.

We at New York Road Runners believe running should be accessible to everyone. To help, we created NYRR Race Free to provide race fee assistance to those who qualify financially.

In 2024, we offered 1,000+ program slots and more than 3,000 complimentary race entries, including for the TCS New York City Marathon. Race Free applications that met the eligibility criteria were pooled based on previous participation and selected by borough or zip code until all slots were filled.

Check out the Race Free page this summer for updates on the 2026 application period. (Please note runners apply in 2025 for races in the calendar year of 2026.) Note: For consideration in the 2026 program, you will need to reapply and qualify once the application period opens—access is not guaranteed.

Be event-ready and avoid delays on race day by claiming your new NYRR account and QR code in advance. You need your new QR code when you pick up your bib or check in for your volunteer shift. QR codes can be found by signing into your account on web browser (not in the NYRR app). Learn more here.

Numbers (which include your timing tag) may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street (between Eighth and Ninth avenues). Please check back closer to race day for race number pickup details.

Only clear bags may be checked at bag check, we are unable to check opaque bags of any size.

NYRR is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen bags or items from bags checked at NYRR bag check.

Following a successful 2024 pilot, NYRR will continue its partnership with Cup Zero to reduce single-use waste. Reusable hydration cups will be available at this race.

Runners are strongly encouraged to return their cups to the designated receptacles in the post-finish area. NYRR volunteers will be available to assist. Returning the cup ensures it can be cleaned and reused—supporting both the environment and the program’s success.
