1. Credit card charges: You will see a charge to your credit card for the race-entry fee. If your credit card is charged for the full race fee, you have been accepted into the race. You may be charged before you receive an email confirming your status or before your status changes in your NYRR account.
Please note: Your card must have an expiration date of October 2025 or later.
If you are selected in the drawing and your credit card is declined, you will be notified via email and given until October 3 at 11:59 p.m. to update your default credit card in your NYRR dashboard. We will periodically attempt to process and finalize your registration again through October 4.
If you have not updated your payment method and been successfully charged by October 4, you will be moved to not selected.
2. Status in your NYRR account: If you have been accepted into the race, your status will change to "Accepted” by end of day Wednesday, October 1.
3. Email: Whether you have been accepted or not, you will receive an email indicating your status by the end of day Wednesday, October 1.

The Member-Only Standby List is a perk for NYRR members who are willing to participate in an NYRR race if entries become available after registration has closed. These individuals will be invited to register for the race on a first-come, first-served basis.

Test your limits with a full loop around Central Park, tackling Harlem Hill, the Three Sisters, and Cat Hill. Be part of this event on Sunday, February 1, and experience something special as you work towards achieving your 9+1 and/or 4 Out of 6.
Important Updates on Registration:
To give more of our running community the chance to participate in this event, the 2026 NYRR Manhattan 10K will utilize a drawing system, with the application window open from September 18 to 26. The drawing will take place on October 1, and it will include a Member-Only Second Chance Drawing.

If you are an Athlete with Disability who needs a guide or support runner to participate in a NYRR event, please follow the process explained here. To request to register a support runner, the runner must fill out the following form. All requests must be placed by runners at least two weeks prior to the event.

Numbers (which include your timing tag) may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street (between Eighth and Ninth avenues). Please check back closer to race day for race number pickup details.

Planning to check a bag on race morning? While we will continue to have clear plastic bags available at number pickup, we encourage you to use your own clear reusable plastic bag, no larger than 17" wide x 20" high x 7" deep, with the tag affixed. Only clear bags may be checked at bag check, we are unable to check opaque bags of any size.
NYRR is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen bags or items from bags checked at NYRR bag check.
NYRR Member Division
All prize money amounts are equal for men, women, and nonbinary categories and subject to all applicable rules and policies regarding prize money. To be eligible for prize money and time bonuses, a runner must have had a valid paid NYRR membership since at least three months (November 1, 2025) prior to race day through at least the date of the race, and must complete the course in 42 minutes or less. All prize money divisions determined by Gun Time.

NYRR Member Division Top Manhattan Finisher
The top man, woman, and nonbinary finisher from Manhattan who meet the NYRR Member Division requirements will be awarded $500. Residency is determined by zip code at the time of registration. Cumulative with overall prize money, if applicable.
NYRR Member Division Time Bonuses
A $100 time bonus is available for the men's, women's and, nonbinary's race winners who break the existing event record, based on Gun Time. The Bonus is available to the race winner, only, and they must break, not tie, the mark.

Live, unofficial results/runner tracking will be available in the NYRR App during the event. Please note: Runner tracking is available at all scored races.
After the conclusion of the event, official results will be posted on results.nyrr.org.
Awards will be presented on site to the top-three finishers in the overall women division. Runners who place in the top-three of their age group will be able to claim an award in the days following the race by filling out our Age-Group Awards Claim Form.

The 4 Out of 6 program allows NYRR members who meet the eligibility requirements to gain guaranteed entry to the United Airlines NYC Half.
Eligibility for entry to the 2027 United Airlines NYC Half will be guaranteed for NYRR members who complete four qualifying events in 2026 and have an active membership by the last qualifying event of the 2026 4 Out of 6 program (the NYRR Staten Island Half on October 11, 2026).
The following races in 2026 will count toward the 4 Out of 6 program qualification for the 2027 United Airlines NYC Half (Please note all dates are pending permit approval and subject to change):
- NYRR Manhattan 10K (February 1)
- Virtual United Airlines NYC Half Medal (Dates TBD)
- United Airlines NYC Half (March 15)
- Virtual RBC Brooklyn Half Medal (Dates TBD)
- RBC Brooklyn Half (May 16)
- Citizens Queens 10K (June 13)
- New Balance Bronx 10 Mile (TBD)
- NYRR Staten Island Half (TBD)
Once a runner has claimed their entry, or once a drawing applicant has been accepted into the race, all entry fees are non-refundable. Runners entered in the 2026 NYRR Manhattan 10K may cancel their entry and earn guaranteed, non-complimentary entry to the 2027 race, but they will be responsible for claiming their entry and paying the entry fees for the 2027 race. The deadline for runners to cancel their 2026 entry and get guaranteed non-complimentary into the 2026 race is January 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
In order to claim your guaranteed entry, you must register and pay the 2027 processing and entry fees during the application window (dates to be announced). Guaranteed entries not submitted during this time period are forfeited.
Please Note: Runners who earn guaranteed entry to the 2027 race because they canceled in 2026 cannot cancel a second time (in 2026) and become eligible for guaranteed entry in 2027.
Team for Kids (TFK) Runners: Runners who gained entry into the 2026 NYRR Manhattan 10K through TFK may cancel their race entry and receive guaranteed entry to the following year. Members will still be responsible for fulfilling the fundraising pledge commitment by the original deadline. Fundraising commitments cannot be deferred to the following year; they must be completed in the year the commitment was made. To cancel and receive guaranteed entry to the following year, contact teamforkids@nyrr.org.
No Refunds: Entry fees are non-refundable and may not be deferred or transferred.
