Join thousands as we "Run as One" to raise funds and awareness for lung cancer research.
Join thousands of participants in 2026 as we “Run as One” to raise funds and awareness for lung cancer research at the 21st annual Run as One 4M Presented by JPMorgan Chase.
This 4-mile race honors former Chase Manhattan Bank Chairman Tom Labrecque, a lifelong never-smoker who passed away from lung cancer at age 62, and supports the ongoing fight against the disease. With more than 60% of lung cancer cases occurring in individuals who have never smoked or who quit years before being diagnosed, your participation makes a meaningful impact.
To learn more about the Thomas G. Labrecque Foundation and its commitment to preventing lung cancer through education and research, visit tglfoundation.com.
All participants will receive a short-sleeve New Balance tech T-shirt in support of the cause.
The Member-Only Standby List is a perk for NYRR members who are willing to participate in an NYRR race if entries become available after registration has closed. These individuals will be invited to register for the race on a first-come, first-served basis.
Active NYRR members can read about the Member-Only Standby List here.
When you run with NYRR, you do more than compete in a world-class race—your support and participation play a role in fulfilling our vision to build healthier lives and stronger communities through the transformative power of running, and benefit NYRR’s free youth and community programs, including Rising New York Road Runners, NYRR Striders, Open Run, and more.
All event information is subject to change.
In 2026, we invite you to walk together, honor lives, and champion hope. Join thousands at the Health Walk at Run as One Presented by JPMorgan Chase and help advance lung cancer research and awareness. All participants will receive a short-sleeve New Balance tech T-shirt in support of the cause.
This 1.4-mile walk celebrates the legacy of Tom Labrecque, a lifelong never-smoker and former Chase Manhattan Bank Chairman, whose story underscores a critical truth: more than 60% of lung cancer cases occur in people who have never smoked or who quit years before being diagnosed. Your participation brings strength to families, survivors, and communities affected by this disease.
The Health Walk at Run as One Presented by JPMorgan Chase is free to join. To further support the Thomas G. Labrecque Foundation, you can make a donation during registration or directly on this page.
Advance volunteer registration opens on February 10 at 6:00 p.m. ET for Member Plus and above levels. General volunteer registration opens to the public on February 12 at 6:00 p.m. ET.
