From one race in New York in 2009 to a global movement, RBC Race for the Kids has grown into a series of 25+ family-friendly races worldwide!
Stage 1: Participants should report to the staging area (starts separated by age group) 10 minutes before the start of their run. Stage 1 dashes will begin on a rolling schedule; see the estimated start times below.

Rising NYRR participants are welcome to join in on the fun with activities at the Naumburg Bandshell area from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
There is no bag check. NYRR is not responsible for bags left unattended.
Participants will receive a New Balance T-shirt. Souvenirs are subject to availability and will only be distributed on event day from 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Race-Day Central. A youth number is required to collect the souvenir.

Registration is FREE and open to participants ages 2–11 of all abilities. Participants will receive a New Balance T-shirt (while supplies last).

Numbers may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street (between Eighth and Ninth Avenues) in advance of the event on the following dates:

Parents/guardians of runners are encouraged to pick up race numbers at the NYRR RUNCENTER to avoid event-day lines.
On event day, race number pickup will be available at Race-Day Central. Pickup times are:
- Stage 1: 7:45 a.m.–9:30 a.m.
If you plan to pick up a runner's race number on race day, please arrive at least 60 minutes before the start of their run.
If NYRR cancels an offering on the direction of local, city, or state authorities, parents/guardians will be informed as soon as possible. Events will not be rescheduled.
