From one race in New York in 2009 to a global movement, RBC Race for the Kids has grown into a series of 25+ family-friendly races worldwide. Over 415,000 participants have raised more than $100 million USD to support youth charities across the globe.
To register for races, you must create or claim your new NYRR account to avoid delays.

Registration for this event is FREE and open to participants ages 2 to 11 of all abilities. Every finisher will receive a New Balance T-shirt. Please note that souvenirs are subject to availability.

We’ve updated our website to increase inclusivity and representation in our races. Parents/guardians can register youth runners as girl, boy, or nonbinary. Visit our FAQ page for more information on how to update your profile.
Race numbers may be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER featuring the New Balance Run Hub at 320 West 57th Street (between Eighth and Ninth Avenues) in advance of the event, on the following dates:
- Saturday, June 28, 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, June 29, 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, July 5, 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Sunday, July 6, 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Monday, July 7, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 8, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 9, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
- Thursday, July 10, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
- Friday, July 11, 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
** The NYRR RUNCENTER will be closed from Monday, June 30, 2025, to Friday, July 4, 2025, for the Independence Day holiday. **
Parents and guardians of runners are encouraged to pick up race numbers at the NYRR RUNCENTER to avoid race-day lines.
Stage 1: On race day, number pickup will be available from 7:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at Race-Day Central, located at the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park.
If you plan to pick up a runner's race number on race day, please arrive at least 60 minutes before the start of their run.
Stage 1: Participants should report to the staging area (starts separated by age group) 10 minutes before the start of their run. Please note that Stage 1 dashes will start on a rolling schedule; refer to the estimated start times listed below.

Stage 1: Check back in for the event map. Participants will run short dashes of various distances. See the Schedule of Events section for the estimated distances each age group will run.
We strongly recommend checking mta.info before you travel. You can also message the MTA using the chat feature on the MTA app.
There is no bag check. NYRR is not responsible for bags left unattended.
Finishers will receive a New Balance T-shirt. Please note that souvenirs are subject to availability.
Souvenirs will only be distributed on race day from 7:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at Race-Day Central, located at the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park. A youth race number must be presented to collect the event souvenir.
In case of an emergency during the race (including in the start or finish area), call 866-705-6626.
If NYRR cancels an offering on the direction of local, city, or state authorities, parents/guardians of participants will be informed as soon as possible. Events will not be rescheduled.
